August is a month for ice tea and we feature our best selling Peach iced tea (black) as our all time best seller this year so far. Lemon and Tropical are also a contenders for the top spot. Ice tea is very easy to make. Our teas come in 1 ounce filter bags … simply fill a large pitcher with hot water from the faucet and steep 1 filter bag for 10 – 15 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes and pour into ice filled tall glasses. Use soft water or spring water for even better taste and clarity. Use heat water in a kettle to a higher temperature and steep the tea for only 5 minutes. Please take care not to heat the water too high and damage the pitcher. The flavor extraction from the leaves varies at different temperatures and you will notice a difference in taste in the two methods.
